This unit prepares students for the double-weight research project undertaken at Level 5 in Year 2.

Develop project aims, objectives, and success criteria
Conduct feasibility and stakeholder analysis
Prepare project plans with Gantt charts and resources
Complete ethics and risk assessment documentation
Review academic and industry sources critically
Select qualitative, quantitative, or mixed methods
Design surveys, interviews, or case study protocols
Maintain research logs and reflexive notes
Gather valid, reliable data within ethical limits
Analyse findings using appropriate techniques
Visualise results for management audiences
Triangulate evidence to strengthen conclusions
Structure report: introduction, methodology, findings, conclusions
