Graduates can work as chartered accountants, auditors, financial analysts, tax consultants, risk managers, and CFOs in multinational companies and financial institutions.
After ACCA, career opportunities include roles like Financial Analyst, Auditor, Tax Consultant, and Finance Manager. You can work in multinational corporations, audit firms, or start your own consultancy. ACCA also opens doors to global opportunities in over 180 countries.
ACCA exams are held four times a year in March, June, September, and December for Applied Skills and Strategic Professional levels.Applied Knowledge exams are available on-demand year-round as computer-based tests.Students can take up to four exams per session and a maximum of eight exams annually.
The CA program by ICAP is structured into four levels: PRC, CAF, CFAP, and MSA. It combines rigorous academic exams with a 3.5-year mandatory training at an ICAP-approved organization. The curriculum develops technical, analytical, and professional competencies essential for chartered accountants.
A B.Com graduate in Pakistan may receive up to 4 exemptions in the CA program offered by ICAP. These typically cover subjects in the PRC and some in the CAF level, depending on the university and academic performance. Final exemptions are granted after ICAP’s evaluation of transcripts and course content.
The CMA (USA) – Certified Management Accountant – is a globally recognized professional certification offered by the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA). It focuses on financial planning, analysis, control, decision support, and professional ethics. The program consists of two exam parts and requires a bachelor’s degree, relevant work experience, and IMA membership.
ICMA Pakistan (Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan) is a professional body that offers the Cost and Management Accounting (CMA) qualification.
It aims to develop expertise in costing, financial management, auditing, taxation, and strategic management.
The program includes multiple academic levels and a mandatory practical training component, preparing professionals for strategic roles in business and finance.
To enroll in the CMA program by ICMA Pakistan, candidates must submit a completed application with attested academic documents. They must choose between Coaching or Distance Learning mode and pay the applicable registration and admission fees. Upon approval, students can begin classes and meet attendance or virtual participation requirements to qualify for exams.
